Let’s start with a painting about a place dear to me: Cala Violina.
Cala Violina is a beautiful cove in Maremma, located in the Gulf of Follonica in the province of Grosseto in Southern Tuscany, situated between Follonica and Punta Ala, in the Bandite di Scarlino Nature Reserve.

The characteristic name comes from a local legend whereby the sand emits a sound when you walk upon it, reminiscent of a violin sound.
It is not very wide, but it is very famous for its white sand and transparent sea, surrounded by green woods.
An authentic precious gem set along the coast of Tuscany.
I spent many summers in Follonica, so Cala Violina has a significant place in my heart.
